How To Living Soil
Instructions for perfect results
Prepare
Get a large bucket, tarp, or container ready for mixing.
Mix

2 parts Light Mix
-
1 part coco substrate (coco soil)
-
500g oats or oat flour per 25 kg of soil

Brotanics Living Soil (e.g. 3 kg per 75 kg mixture)
Example: 50 kg Light Mix + 25 kg Coco + 1.5 kg Oats + 3 kg Brotanics Living Soil
Blend
Mix thoroughly until all components are evenly distributed, by hand or machine.
Moisten
Water the soil until evenly moist (about 10–15% of total volume).
Activate
Let the mix rest, covered, for 6-10 days, this allows the soil life to fully develop.
Planting

Do not plant seeds, seedlings or very young plants directly into Living Soil during the first week, it’s too nutrient-rich.

Tip: Make a hole in the center of the soil, fill it with Light Mix, and place the seedling there. It will grow into the Living Soil naturally.

No fertilizer or pH adjustment needed, living soil takes care of it!

Don’t plant seedlings directly in the first week, too strong!
